Legal changelog

Every change made so far to the five notices in this section is listed below, newest date first, in plain English. Each line links to the page it changed. The canonical and authoritative version of each notice is the one published at scoutatlas.uk; the pages here mirror it, so a change recorded here was made there first.

23 September 2026

• The Cookie notice now covers both sites. Clause 1 names the documentation subdomain, and clause 2 states that docs.scoutatlas.uk stores only the theme choice, as a browser localStorage entry rather than a cookie, and shows no cookie banner and keeps no record of a visitor having accepted one.
• The Accessibility statement now covers both sites. The entry screen, the animated heading and the unconnected contact form are named as scoutatlas.uk's, none of them exist on the documentation subdomain, and clause 4 says how a visitor of either site reports a problem today.
• The Privacy notice clause 2 is split into two site-specific descriptions, so the session flag that stops the entry sequence replaying is scoped to scoutatlas.uk instead of reading as though it applied to both sites.
• The Terms of use clause 1 now governs the documentation subdomain as well as scoutatlas.uk, and each reference to the contact form names the site that has one.
• The Security disclosure was not changed. It already covered the subdomains the Company operates itself, docs.scoutatlas.uk among them.

22 September 2026

• A wording fix to the Privacy notice: clause 2 no longer refers to a comment field, and clause 5 names the Hetzner and Coolify hosting. The notice carries an effective date of 21 September 2026.

21 September 2026

• The Privacy notice was extended so that clauses 1, 2 and 5 also cover docs.scoutatlas.uk and its page-feedback signal.

20 September 2026

• The contact address was changed to sharifhamza635@gmail.com in the four notices that carry it: the Privacy notice, the Terms of use, the Accessibility statement and the Security disclosure.

19 September 2026

• All five notices were published here in full rather than as a one-paragraph summary with a link, so the Legal section now carries the complete text of each one.
• After an audit, the Privacy notice, Terms of use, Accessibility statement and Security disclosure were revised and the interim contact address was written into the text. The Terms of use and the Accessibility statement each gained a clause.
• The Cookie notice was rewritten after the cookie banner was removed from scoutatlas.uk.
• Clause 2 of the Privacy notice was corrected.

• First publication of all five notices: the Privacy notice, the Terms of use, the Cookie notice, the Accessibility statement and the Security disclosure.
